Mama Mae’s delivers to most postcodes within London; please contact us to find out if we can still deliver to your location.
Our delivery prices vary and are based on your delivery location and the fragility of your order.
Weekday deliveries usually start from £5.99, while weekend deliveries usually start from £7.99.
Please Note: All orders must be signed for. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery information is provided and that a recipient is available for collection. Unfortunately, no refunds will be provided if the recipient is not available to take and acknowledge delivery. All weekend deliveries are subject to availability. We advise that you contact us a week in advance if you require a definite weekend delivery. Delivery charges are exempt from all discounts/promotions, except where specified.

All our cakes are made in an environment where nuts, peanuts, eggs, milk, soya, sesame and gluten are stored/used.

Ordering & Payment
All our bespoke cakes are hand-made from scratch and freshly baked to order. As a result, we tend to require at least 48 hours notice for most orders. However, we may be able to accommodate orders at shorter notice depending on the quantity and design(s) you require.
If you do not need a bespoke cake, but still require a special cake urgently, please visit us instore, as you’ll find many delicious ready to go celebration cakes, which we can personalised further if required.
As all of our bespoke cakes are made to order, we require full payment for security. If you choose to cancel, you MUST give us no less than 48 hours notice to ensure you receive a full refund. Failure to give sufficient notice will result in a cancellation fee being incurred. This cancellation fee is 15% of the final total of your order, including any delivery charges and card payment fees.
Minimum Orders:
We have a fixed minimum order policy.
– Mini Cupcakes: Available to order by the dozen. Minimum order applies; 1 flavour per 3 dozen. Only available in classic flavours.
– Small Cupcakes: Available to order by the dozen. Minimum order applies; 1 dozen per flavour. Only available in classic flavours.
– Medium Cupcakes: Minimum order applies; 1 dozen per flavour. Available in classic and signature flavours.
– Large Cupcakes: Minimum order applies; 1 giant cupcake per flavour. Available in classic and signature flavours.
– Celebration Cakes: No Minimum Orders
– Standard/Bespoke Cake Pops: 1 Dozen/12.
All orders must be in multiples of six thereafter and flavours can not be mixed on smaller orders. If you wish to have more than the maximum stipulated, please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.

We accept cash (in-store only), bank transfers and card payments. We Are Green!
Mama Mae’s cares about the environment and the impact we make. For that reason, we’ve made many sustainable choices for our business.
We source local and organic ingredients for all our treats.
Our signature boxes are both compostable and recyclable. The utensils, cups, napkins and bags we use are also compostable therefore diverting a majority of waste from landfills.
A large majority of our deliveries are made by foot and hand delivered directly, therefore we have a very low carbon footprint. If they are stored correctly most of our cupcakes/cakes have a shelf life of approximately 3 – 4 days from the day you receive them.
However, if your cupcakes/cakes have a cream cheese frosting or contain fresh fruits, for safety’s sake, please consume within 2 days. In addition, even though the internal texture of these cupcakes will change (it may become dry very quickly), these little delights must be refrigerated! Ordering Terms & Conditions
Order process
We require full payment at the point of order. You will receive an email confirmation for your order with an order number and receipt of payment. You may need to check your spam email folder as the confirmation may be sent there by your security settings.
Please check the email order confirmation carefully and notify us on eat@mamamaes.com if any items are incorrect.
You can pay for an order using a debit or credit card.
Change an order
Please contact us on eat@mamamaes.com if you would like to make an alteration to an order.
You may not be able to make an alteration within the 24 hours prior to the delivery time selected. However please note that additional charges may apply to any changes accepted within this period.
Delivery
It is your responsibility to ensure that the correct delivery details are provided to us which includes the delivery address and contact phone number.
It is your responsibility to ensure that there is someone available to accept the delivery at the delivery address. Mama Mae’s cannot accept any liability in the late delivery of an order due to incorrect or insufficient delivery details provided. In addition Mama Mae’s does not accept any responsibility for costs incurred due to errors made with products delivered.
Please note that any undelivered products will be held by us for an additional 24 hours and an additional delivery charge will be applicable if you request a new delivery time.
We are not liable for any complaint concerning our delivery which is not raised within 24 hours of delivery.
Product
Our cupcakes are handmade and handcrafted using natural and fresh ingredients. Therefore cupcakes delivered to you may vary from the photographs shown on our website. The photographs on our website are for illustrative purposes only.
We appreciate that taste is a personal matter and subjective. We cannot accept the return of products only because you do not like the taste. However we welcome your feedback.
If upon delivery of your order you find that the products are incorrect, incomplete or damaged then please notify us on eat@mamamaes.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.
If the product is not as per the order confirmation email or damaged then we will refund your purchase. You are required to provide a photograph to support such a refund. You must retain the damaged goods (including the packaging) for our inspection and subject to our review of the error or damage (and these Terms & Conditions), we will refund the total price you have paid for your order.
We are not liable for any complaint concerning our products which is not raised within 24 hours of delivery.
Cancellation
If we receive an order cancellation at least 36 hours before the delivery time then we can guarantee a full refund. Any other order cancellation requests outside of this time period will not be part or fully refunded.
We will make a refund payment to the debit card or credit card used by you for the original order. Ownership of the products will transfer to Mama Mae’s once a refund payment has been made to you.
Price
We reserve the right to make price changes without prior notice. However we can guarantee that no price increase will apply to a confirmed order that has been paid for the price at the point of order.
Our delivery charges are calculated separately from the price of our products. Refer to our Delivery page for more details.
General
We are confident that you will be satisfied with your purchase of our products. However if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase (either the product or the service) then please contact us on eat@mamamaes.com.
We may publish photographs of your order onto our social media and/or our website.
