The outside of our gender reveal cakes are decorated simply in white buttercream or chocolate, while inside the sponge is usually coloured pink for baby girls or blue for baby boys. However, as we do not believe in gender norms at Mama Mae’s we are happy to colour the sponge to match whatever colour you want to assign to the gender of your or a loved one’s baby.
